Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between cassava flour and tapioca starch?

Cassava flour is made from the whole cassava root, which is peeled, dried, and ground. It contains fiber and has a texture similar to wheat flour. Tapioca starch is extracted from the starchy pulp of the cassava root. It is a pure starch, very fine and white, primarily used as a thickening agent.

Is your cassava cyanide-free?

Yes. We source sweet cassava varieties, which have very low levels of cyanogenic glucosides. Furthermore, our thorough processing methods, including peeling, washing, and drying/heating, effectively remove these compounds to levels that are safe for consumption and meet international food safety standards.

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Our standard MOQ is one 20-foot or 40-foot container (FCL), depending on the product. For example, a 20ft container holds approximately 18-19 metric tons of tapioca starch. Please contact us for a detailed quote based on your specific needs.
